If there is one thing I love doing, its going to a great metal show with my buddy Darren. A few weeks a go we went and saw 3 Inches of Blood which I think are one of the best metal bands to emerge in the last few years. They are one of the few bands that seem to remember that heavy metal shouldn’t be a musical genre for the world weary, 20 something, lower middle class nihilistic reject who thinks his life sucks and wants to share that opinion with anyone who will buy his album. No sir, 3 Inches of Blood would rather have you pumping your hands in the air and srcreaming “Destroy the Orcs”, or tossing your buddy Darren towards the stage to the crazy rhythm of “Premonition of Pain”. Rock on gentlemen, rock on.
